What is the most likely explanation for the decline of Greek drama?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Greek drama was originally seen as the actors being closer to the gods because they were granted the ability to literally become another person. When the Greeks got busy with war, theater and the arts in general dwindled. Also, later, it became seen as almost satanic cultures to be acting because it was believed that you were defying the gods or God by taking over someone else. Another prime reason for Greek theatre was religion. It was based on instilling religious principles and consequences of bad acts. As people became less afraid of gods and more confident in their strength it became less of an issue.
