How would a drastic decrease in temperature affect mitochondria function and the process of active transport?

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

Well because of a change in temp, the proteins would lose their structure by a process called Denaturing. Once they lose this structure they will no longer be able to continue with binding to their substrate -- which will lead to not making ATP in the mitochondria.

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

@Rose501 ok.?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

*denature proteins and enzymes
