" Because i am a soldier"
Its been ages now,
when i saw them for the last time,
i have a wife and a mother of mine,
who are the best thing in my life,
but i had to leave them,
for my nations pride,
i remember the last time we met,
its been a decade back,
they cried in the fear of losing me,
and not seeing me early back,
i have a child as well of mine,
i have never seen him,
but he must be five,
i dont know how they are,
but it is a tough time over years to say,
i remember all of my friends,
we enjoyed every weekends day,
but now weekends are just nothing,
drilling and marching just everyday,
no one remembers the meaning of fun,
everyday is made of ice and fear,
it is difficult for us to stay,
but we dont panic,
because this is our life ,
and we have to life it the way it is ordered,
changing weather, changing seasons,
but our dresscode remains the same forever,
talking to my family is the happiest time,
even for a minute in thirty days,
we have to be strong and stiff,
with bold bodies and straight to the feet,
the remember that day,
when i was ill,
my mother was so tensed,
and stayed up for my health,
now illness is just nothing,
we get no time to stay ill,
and free for just nothing,
no holidays, no festivals,
staying up day and night.
to protect my nations future,
because i am a soldier,
and this is my duty!!
