Every 6 months, Andrea reads 10 novels. If she continues to read this many novels for every 6-month period, how many months will it take for her to read 15 novels?

This is how you do it. 6 months = 10 novels You want to find out how many months it takes for her to read 15 novels. Half of 6 months = 3 months, and half of 10 novels = 5 novels. So this means: 3 months = 5 novels And we already have 6 months = 10 novels We can add these together to get: 9 months = 15 novels
