Vertical Asymptote. If you set x = 0, you will not get a value for y since you cannot divide 8 by 0. The graph will never go through any point where x = 0, that is where you will get your vertical asymptote. When graphing, remember that vertical asymptotes stand for x-values that are not allowed.
