I will give you a medal if you can help me. If a line crosses the y-axis at (0, -4) and has a slope of -2, what is the equation of the line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it tells you the slope and where it crosses the y-axis then you have the slope and y-intercept, or m and b, so m=-2 and b=-4 just plug those numbers into the slope-intercept form of a line y=mx+b. I will check it for you if you want.
