Explain how the slope-intercept form of the equation of a line might make graphing the line easier than making a table of values. When might it not be easier?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope-intercept form makes graphing a line easier because it gives you the point where the line crosses the y-axis, and then the slope of the line or the rise/run. that way you only need to plot the y intercept and then count down or up and left or right places to plot your other points

it would not be easier at times where your y intercept is a decimal or a difficult fraction
