I am trying to figure out radians and unit circles, but i cannot seem to do it. Any helpful tips, or ideas?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

radians define the number of radiuses that measure the circumference .... other than that your question is a bit vague to me.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

can you demonstrate what you are trying to do?

think of it this way an equilateral triangle has 3 equal sides... and 3 equal angles. If you pushed on 2 vertices and 1 side bulged to for an arc... then the shape becomes a sector... the angle at the centre was 60 degrees... and is now slightly less. the sector will have an arc with the same length as the 2 straight sides... the angle formed at the centre of the sector is 1 radian which is slightly less than the 60 degrees in the original equlateral triangle. hope that makes sense
