PLEASE HELP DESPERATE!!! 2) Let A = {-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3} Let B = {0,1,2,3,5,7,9} Let C = {1,3,5,7,9} Which set is equivalent to (A U B) Ω C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. {1,3} B. {1,3,5} C. {0,1,2,3,5,7,9} D. {-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,4,5,7,9} multiple choice

OpenStudy (mosaic):

A U B implies all elements that are either in A or B or both. Ω implies elements that are common to BOTH sets.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then using above phenomena it resuts as={1,3,5,7,9} which not a choice in it..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so why does it say c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it may be given set C={1,3,5,7,9} or review your questin...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer is C?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

If the problem was copied correctly, then none of the choices are correct. The correct answer is the given set C, not answer choice C.
