Given: AB and BC are tangents of D and the m

OpenStudy (mosaic):

Since BC is a tangent angle DCB = 90 degrees. Angle ACD = 15. What is angle ACB?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk thats all the information i have /.\

OpenStudy (mosaic):

From the two numbers I wrote above you can first find angle ACB. Then I will tell you how to find angle ABC.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay are u gonna work it out for me ? :)

OpenStudy (mosaic):

angle ACB = angle DCB - angle ACD = 90 - 15 = 75 Angle CAB is also 75 degrees. Angle ACB + Angle CAB = 75 + 75 = 150 degrees. Can you now find angle ABC? (Remember, the three angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees. Two of them here add to 150 degrees. Therefore, the third angle must be ....?)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

30?

OpenStudy (mosaic):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yayy thanks :)
