@Abhisar
hey man i have a discussion debate thing for you
if plentiful oxygen supply means organisms (humans) can have high metabolic rates which enables them to be super active
how come as more and more trees are cut down and thus there is more co2 in the air humans arent becomeing more and more lethargic?

How this? \(\color{blue}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @PRAETORIAN.10 if plentiful oxygen supply means organisms (humans) can have high metabolic rates which enables them to be super active \(\color{blue}{\text{End of Quote}}\)
Statement is wrong !
a factor of terrestrial communities
a favourable factor
its an effect
or not?
Oxygen is required for cellular respiration, appropriate amount will be required for optimum performance. Lower than that will lead to lethargic but higher levels will not increase metabolism

Still the level of O\(_2\) is enough to support the organisms.
well i figured it was like a heart, the better blood can be pumped around (the more oxygen) the faster and for longer a person can run without getting tired (conditioning)
Almost correct
dang it. i always seem to be almost but never fully correct.
oh well, good discussion anyways
like you said before this discussion thing is pretty good
thanks anyways
yes it is !
Suppose a person is stuck inside a locked car with all windows up !
Gradually the level of o2 will decline and that of CO2 will rise. This will lead to oxygen deficiency in the cells. Less oxygen----->Less cellular respiration------> less ATP produced------>Lethargy------->ultimately death
ye because of suffocation and oxygen deficiency
110% agreed man!
good stuff
one more thing ! Suppose someone is again inside a locked car with all windows up. This time let us fill the car with additional o2. This will not result him to turn superman ! :D
what a pity, i know only too well, i've tried this before myself
