Ok, the formula I have that relates k to the half-life is this:$$k=-\frac{ \ln(.5) }{ half life }$$

In your case$$.1247=-\frac{ \ln(.5) }{ x }$$I am not totally sure if this is correct, but it is what I know about the relationship between k and the half-life.  Solving this for x you get a half life of about 5.5.
