Please help with my studying paper stuff. Read the sentence and determine if it is a SUBJECTIVE (S) mood or a CONDITIONAL (C) mood. 1. ______ If I were a lucky person, I would go buy a lottery ticket. 2. _____ If I fail to study for my Language Arts Segment exam, then I have a good chance of failing it. 3. _____ If I were smart, I would study. 4. _____ My friend wished I were there to hear her solo. I think the last 2 are Conditional.

-Conditional is not a mood, it is merely a sentence type: they are used to express that the action in the main clause can only take place if a certain condition is fulfilled. Sometimes the 'if' clause contains a verb in the subjunctive mood. -Subjunctive forms of verbs are typically used to express various states of unreality such as wish, emotion, possibility, judgment, opinion, necessity, or action that has not yet occurred – the precise situations in which they are used vary from language to language. From my guessing, it's probably.. 1. C 2. S 3. C 4. C :) Hoped this helped!
