ok...if x is isolated in the second equation.. x - 4y + 3z = -11 x = 4y - 3z - 11 now sub this into the first equation 2x - 3y - z = -1 2(4y - 3z - 11) - 3y - z = -1 8y - 6z - 22 - 3y - z = -1 5y -7z = 21 now sub it into the third equation 2x + 9y + 3z = -13 2(4y - 3z - 11) + 9y + 3z = -13 8y - 6z - 22 + 9y + 3z = -13 17y - 3z = 9 answer is : 2nd one
thats what I got too!!
can you help me with this
good to hear :) Great minds think alike
you need more help ?
3x - 5y + 2z = 7 4x + 9y - z = 2 --->(2) --------------- 3x - 5y + 2z = 7 8x + 18y - 2z = 4 (result of multiplying by 2) --------------add 11x + 13y = 11 4x + 9y - z = 2 -->(3) x - 3y + 3z = 7 -------------- 12x + 27y - 3z = 6 (result of multiplying by 3) x - 3y + 3z = 7 ---------------add 13x + 24y = 13 answer is : 1st one
yayy I think i get this now!!
for that one all of them seemed right except D, but I picked the easiest one for me that took to solve :/
I have to go with C as well :)
alright! thx
I am sorry I just want to make sure
