Whats the inverse fo y=log8x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y= \log_{8} x\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@SkiTTleoooo47 just plug it in mathway

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that a calculator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does it show how it looks graphed too or nah?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

inverse is 10^v/8

OpenStudy (kropot72):

To find the inverse, first interchange x and y in the original equation: So the original equation \[y=\log_{8} x\] becomes \[x=\log_{8} y\] Now make y the subject, giving \[y=8^{x}\]

thanks :)

OpenStudy (kropot72):

You're welcome :)
