If you want the slope and y-intercept of 4x-3y=12, then please solve this equation for y. compare your result to the slope-intercept form of the equation of a straight line (which you shoulld know or be able to find quickly on the 'Net). After having put 4x-3y=12 into slope-intercept form, you should be able to read off the values of the slope (m) and the y-intercept (b) from your result.
