Hi general formula for the transformations of a function is \(\LARGE y= \color{blue}{a}f(\color{red}{k}(x-\color{green}{d}))+\color{orange}{c}\) where: \(\color{blue}{a}\) is the vertical stretch or compression; it also determines the vertical reflection, \(\color{red}{k}\) is horizontal stretch or compression; it also determines the horizontal reflection, \(\color{green}{d}\) is the horizontal translation and \(\color{orange}{c}\) is the vertical translations.
