OpenStudy (epoweritheta):

Please help Me What is the difference between binomial distribution and bernoulli distribution ?

OpenStudy (kropot72):

The Bernoulli distribution is the special case of the binomial distribution when n = 1. Therefore it is the probability distribution of the number of successes in a single trial.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Bernoulli distribution is just a simple, single event with probability \(p\) of success. Binomial distribution is a Bernoulli distribution which is repeated \(n\) times independently, and it gives the probability that you get \(k\) successes. The only time there are the same is when \(n=1\).
