Depends on how much time you have really. It is more about practicing what you learn. If you spend two hours watching the tutorials or lectures you need four to practice. so plan accordingly.

The more you put into things, the more you get out of them.  However, you also need to be able to take some time to think about things.  So you need to find the best balance for you between getting through the materials and having time to properly absorb them.

Don't try to understand everything. You will be spinning your wheels pointlessly. Just keep going past to other stuff.

Why? You're so new, you really don't know what's important and what's not. Seeing more of everything gives you perspective and when you return to topics that you had trouble with, they will likely be more understandable and be able to fit more appropriately into the larger picture.
