TWO questions for MEDAL and FAN?? ;; http://prntscr.com/3xkkv4
For the first question, when you reflect a point over the x-axis the x value stay's the same and the Y value switches sign so look at each point given and see if they follow that process.
which choice would it be, then?
U = (-2,6) V = (-5,-3) They are represented in the form (X,Y) so which of the answers has only the Y value change sign and the x value stay the same?
I do not give answers, I help arrive at them and will tell you if you are correct or not.
That is the purpose of OpenStudy.
Yes I understand, it's just that it's a pretest, and I dont know any of this stuff just yet.
For the second question, they provide a section in what seems to be your course book or what you use for reference. That will allow you to see if any of the following conversions are good estimates.
Is the last one D?
Example, If i have the line with end points, (A,B) and (C,D). Flipping this over the x-axis will not change my X value but will change the sign of my Y values. Since points are in the form (X,Y) you can see that my new endpoints will be. (A,-B) and (C,-D)
Correct

After I flip it over the "X-Axis" then I will now have the end point.|dw:1404021343490:dw|
Hope that is helpful to you. The second question requires that you understand conversion factors or that you refer to " [6.05] MA.7.G.4.4" for help in solving.
Thanks for your help.
My pleasure.
