The authors of the Constitution were extremely concerned with balancing power and particularly worried about limiting the power of the presidency. What are the two important ways they did it? From what you know about the presidency today, do you think they did a good job of giving the president enough power to do his job but not so much that he could do things he shouldn’t? Give some examples.
There is the system of Checks and balances, in which each branches "checks" the balances of the other branches. the House of reps checks the president by being the ones to create the bills (if passed by the president they become laws) and help to pass them. from there the president checks the House of Reps by being able to veto, or pass the bill and turn it into a law. Now the Supreme Court can check the president by ruling the new law unconstitutional. These ways help balance the power of each governmental branch, and not giving one branch too much power. How they have done a good job of limiting and balancing the powers is up to you to decide. Hope this helped!
