Positive acute angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Positive: Any value above zero. Acute angle: Any angle less than 90 degrees.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

How can an angle be negative ???

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Just like taking a negative distance.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An angle can't be negative.

kempu, welcome to OpenStudy. Regarding your first post, "positive acute angle," next time, would you please include the instructions that came with the problem. Don't make prospective helpers guess what you need from them.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

SO why s the question asking for a \(\large\color{blue}{ \ positive }\) acute angle ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For all we know it's not, we don't really have instructions. It could have been: Can you have a positive acute angle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We just don't know, and we'll wonder until the day we die.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

One thing I can say for sure, is that kempu is offline, and is gone for ever -:(

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

YEs, you can have a positive acute angle, or if not, then all triangles are equilateral.
