medal rewarded please help!! Two sets of quadratic equations are shown below in various forms. Line 1: x2 + 3x + 2 (x + 1)(x + 2) (x + 1.5)2 − 0.25 Line 2: x2 + 5x + 6 (x + 2)(x + 3) (x + 2.5)2 + 6.25 Which line contains three equivalent expressions? Line 1 only Line 2 only Both Line 1 and Line 2 Neither Line 1 nor Line 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't get it, do they want the expressions to be equivalent to the other line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I honestly have no idea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@wio please help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, you have to simplify the others expressions to see if they are equivalent.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[ (x + 1)(x + 2)=x^2+3x+2 \]So it is equivalent to \(x^2 + 3x + 2\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't get it... I've been staring at this question for an hour...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ooohhh I get it now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be C? @wio

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ya got it!!!!
