If the outliers are not included, what is the mean of the data set? 76, 79, 80, 82, 50, 78, 83, 79, 81, 82 77 78 79 80

50 is the only outlier I can see. The outlier, in case you need a refresher, is any number that is way different than the rest of the numbers in the set of data. Like it got there by someone's mistake in calculations, or something, so it can be thrown out.

Add the remaining numbers and divide by the number of data you have left. What do you get?
