OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

All of the following factors contribute to Earth's climate EXCEPT a. latitude b. biomes and ecosystems c. transport of heat d. shape and elevation of land masses e. ocean and air currents

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

i'm guessing the answer is.....

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

d

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

cause it doesnt make sense

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

how a mountain could make the climate change

OpenStudy (abhisar):

ELEVATION OF LAND MASSES :(

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

it would change topography

OpenStudy (abhisar):

higher altitudes ahve generally low temp

OpenStudy (abhisar):

*have

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

yeah

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

but thats not a result of it being higher

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

i mean it doesnt make it higher

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@PRAETORIAN.10 A.

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

dang it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@PRAETORIAN.10 A is an artificial measurement. It is just something that humans used to indicate positions on the Earth, and as such is an abstract idea. It affects climate no more than units of measurement affect the actual variable we are measuring. For instance, the force of gravity does not change not matter what we use to indicate it.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Got it ?

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

yeah think so

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

thanks guys
