Question

Determine whether the sequence converges or diverges. if it converges, give the limit. 72, 18, 9/2, 9/8, ... I think it converges but I don't know the limit

Well we see that the sequence is going down and down by a ratio of 1/4 (unneeded information but still) And since every number will continue to decrease, it seems as though this sequence is going down to 0 (but will never reach it!)

So yes, it converges to 0
