I'm not a 100% sure, but the chances of landing heads by throwing 1 coin is 50% or 1/2. So, the probability of landing 4 heads is 1/2*1/2*1/2*1/2 or 1/16. Just repeat this method for B and C. We know D is impossible since there are only 4 coins to begin with.
