What was one result of the GI Bill? The armed forces became desegregated, which helped integrate society. World War II veterans received pensions enabling them to buy their own homes. The middle class expanded as working class men were able to go to college. Women could no longer work outside the home.

The GI Bill gives pension and money for further education to veterans. The GI Bill is a law that provides a range of benefits for veteran including low cost mortgages, low interest loans to start a business, cash payments for tuition and living expenses to attend university, high school or vocational school, and even one year of unemployment compensation. Trust me...I know. I am enlisting this summer so I am pretty sure that I should know this stuff. If you think I'm wrong than, without disrespect, I think you should try again :D
