Which values of x and y satisfy 2x − y = 7 and 3x − 2y = 5 simultaneously?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So this is a systems of equation problem, any idea how to solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No idea

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

Ok, so what you should do take the first equation. Substitute 0 for y. Then simplify to find x. Once you get that number, substitute the value of x into the equation again to find y. And that is your answer.
