Which of the following statements about linear functions is false?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a. the graph is a straight line b. it can be represented by a graph, equation, table of values, or sentence c. it can have squared variables d. the slope is constant.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nevermind, the answer is c.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a and d are correct as a linear function is a straight line and thus has a constant slope. An exponential function ALWAYS has a curved sloped so c is incorrect. B is Also correct as f(x) = 2x +3 is a linear function clearly represented by and equation and and easily representable on a graph. So C is the only false one I think
