Which best explains why scientific theories grow stronger over time? As more scientists attempt to find holes in the current theory, adjustments are made which make the theory stronger. More students are taught about the theory, and so there are more people who believe the theory to be true. Scientists believe that older theories are stronger than newer theories. New evidence is ignored if it contradicts the older, more accepted theories.
