In my words, try to divide a number with all numbers up to half of its value. All the numbers which give remainder as zero are the factors of that number. For example, take a number 24. Half of its value is 12. So, divide 24 by all numbers from 1 to 12 and the numbers which give remainder as zero are the factors of 24
