sammixboo (sammixboo):

It is always good to start with the whole expression ;p \(4(20+12)÷(4-3)\) Remember PEMDAS So we have to do the Parenthesis FIRST, obviously, and @Mateaus you added 20 and 12 wrong. It isn't 48 it is 38. \(4(38)÷(7)\) Now the next step in PEMDAS is exponents, but we don't have any in this problem so we go to me next step, which is multiplication or division starting from the left side of the problem, to the right side. So first, we have to do \(4*38\) which is 152. Now we plug in 152 where \(4(38)\) was at, and we can take the parenthesis off of \((7)\): \(152÷7\) Now you divide \(152÷7\) And there is your answer.

sammixboo (sammixboo):

@JuniorEinstein1 Ya got it? And @Mateaus it's okay :D We all make mistakes, lol.
