18

zepdrix (zepdrix):

If you break the into their prime factors it can help: \(\Large\rm 54=9\cdot6=3\cdot3\cdot3\cdot2\) \(\Large\rm 72=9\cdot8=4\cdot3\cdot3\cdot2\) See how thy both have a 3 a 3 and a 2? So the greatest common factor will be 3x3x2
