A system of equations is shown below: 2x = 5y + 4 3x - 2y = -16 What is the solution to this system of equations? (-8, -4) (8, 4) (-4, -8) (4, 8)

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Solve for either one:D Do you know how to do that?

OpenStudy (geekfromthefutur):

no

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Alrighty.

OpenStudy (geekfromthefutur):

can u help me tho???

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

I have to go now...I solved for the first one though and got y=3/2x+8. Now, all you have to do is Plug these x's and y's INTO the OTHER equation. And then you'll get your solution. Good Luck!:D I wish I could help you further but I have to go now.

OpenStudy (geekfromthefutur):

oh ok thx :D:D
