Ok firstly you need to know that: SPEED = DISTANCE / TIME using that equation your average speed will be = 105miles / 1hr45mins ((1hr 45mins = 105mins)) so speed = 105miles / 105mins therfore your speed is 1mile/minute. Usual measurement is in mile/hour (not minute) so 1mile/minute = 60mile/hr. (multiply by 60 as there are 60minutes in 1 hour)
