What happens to global sea level during a glacial period?

Sea levels drop globally during an ice age (also called a glacial period) as seawater is taken up in the ice sheets. There is decreased evaporation during an ice age and therefore less rain.

Keep in mind that the saltwater may freeze, but as it freezes the salt is almost completely left unfrozen, making the ices fresh water, which is one reason that it floats in salt water.
