Describe, in your own words, why sugar will dissolve faster in hot tea than it will in cold tea. Be specific in your explanation. @Abhisar

OpenStudy (abhisar):

U have any guesses or what do u think ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ummm maybe because the hotter temperature helps break down tha molecules faster?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

yes u r coorrect ! The water molecules move faster in hot tea (due to increased kinetic energy). The faster they move, the harder they hit the sugar crystals. The harder they hit, the more sugar molecules are knocked loose.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

getting my points ?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

??

OpenStudy (anonymous):
