4th degree implies the highest exponent is 4. Trinomial implies three terms.

Look at the exponents. The highest exponent must be 4.
because you need 3 so that it become a trianomial and the highest power is 4

It should be B, it is 4th degree since 4 is the highest power and it is a trinomial since it has three terms
