An interesting structure in the cytoplasm is the cytoskeleton, which gives the cell its shape and along which the organelles move. It functions along with the centrioles, which are found in animal cells and work in conjunction with cilia and flagella, tiny hairlike growths, to allow the cell to move. Also found in the cytoplasm are membranous sacs that transport materials in, within, and out of the cell. Which of the following organelles give the cell its shape and function in cell locomotion?

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

not entirely sure but for the cells shape is responsible the cell membrane. It is made up of the phospholipid bilayer and proteins. The membrane is elastic and rather protective.
