All the 'x' values of a graph form the Domain set. See which values of x which give a function value. This is what I mean. |dw:1404307520694:dw|
Looking at y our illustration (picture.png): do you see any restrictions on the (input) x-values? Is the graph broken (discontinuous) for any particular x-value? If not, what's your conclusion about the domain of this function? Hint: one possible definition of "domain" is "the set of all acceptable input values of the given function."
