OpenStudy (andertj21):

What is the equation of the line that passes through (4, -1) and (-2, 3)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We need to find the slope, and the y intercept. Slope: y1 - y2 over x1 - x2 -1 - 3 over 4 + 2 -4 over 6 So our slope is: -4/6x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So we have: y = -4/6x + b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we need the y intercept, or b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the y intercept is the point where x = 0, try and find it using the slope.

OpenStudy (andertj21):

Whats the answer B?
