Question Mark or Exclamation Point Inside Rule B. Question Mark or Exclamation Point Outside Rule C. Colon or Semicolon Inside Rule D. Colon or Semicolon Outside Rule

I believe the answer is A. Not that the quote is a question, and since it is the boy asking, the punctuation (question mark) belongs inside of the quotation marks. “Of course we’re in a hurry; isn’t the bus about to leave?" asked the children.
