OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which of the following is not true for both gravitational and electric forces? a.The inverse square distance law applies. b.Forces are proportional to physical properties. c.Potential energy is a function of distance of separation. d.Forces are either attractive or repulsive.

OpenStudy (disqin):

Both gravitation and electric forces follow inverse square law. Of course both forces depends on their physical properties (i.e. mass in gravitation and charge in electric.) Also potential energy is the function of distance in both cases. (It is inversely proportional to it). In electric force, force can be attractive or repulsive but gravitation force is always attractive. Now I think you can do rest of yourself.
