seven-sided figure ABCDEFG, angle A measures 9x minus 2 degrees, angle B measure 10x plus 2 degrees, angle C measures 165 degrees, angle D measures 100 degrees, angle E measures 5x plus 83 degrees, angle F measures 12x plus 18 degrees, and angle G measures 138 degrees
Measure of angle A = (9x – 2)°, measure of angle B = (10x + 2)°, measure of angle C = 165°, measure angle D = 100°, measure of angle E = (5x + 83)°, angle F = (12x + 18)°, and 138°.

Well, just add the similar bits...
add numbers to numbers
and add the ones with x's to the ones with x's.

Sorta like this:
(4 + 3x) + (9 + 2x) = 11 + 5x
