Mathematics 7 Online
OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

The length of a rectangle is 3 inches and the width is 4 inches. The rectangle is then dilated to 9 in by 12 in. What is the scale factor? @anonymousbeast

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

@AnonymousBeast please help? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll help you with this last one, then I have to get back to my own math final.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide 9 by 3 and 12 by 4. They will be the same, that number is the scale factor.

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

3 is the scale factor?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mhm.

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Thank you so much! When will you be done with your math final?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

About an hour or so?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm on the essay questions. Those take time.

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Ok cool! Well good luck & thanks for all the help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem. Thank you. You too.
