my friend wants to know what a superlative adj is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A superlative adjective compares three or more nouns. This takes the comparison of nouns to the highest degree. An example would be: “My mother’s cooking is the best.” The rules for making superlative adjectives are almost identical to the rules for making comparative adjectives. They are: One syllable words - add “est” to the word. Remember that it is sometimes necessary to double the final consonant. Examples are: strong to strongest and big to biggest. One syllable words ending with an “e” - only add “st” like fine to finest or rare to rarest. Two syllable words ending with a “y” - change the “y” to an “i” and add “est.” Two examples are crazy to craziest and silly to silliest. Two and three syllable words - use “most” or “least.” Examples include most desirable and least expensive.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nice copy and past xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha i dont know myself

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u good with pronons

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A superlative adjective is used to compare three or more objects, people, or places. long story short

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and like what type of pronouns

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which sentence uses the pronouns correctly? My wife and me love sweets. My sister and me want to go to Australia, too. Shara thinks that she can run faster than I. My sister is 3 years older than me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

these kinds

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its the last one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how u know?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just explain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well if you change the others to different words they would make since like for example My wife and I love sweets. My sister and I want to go to Australia, too. Shara thinks that she can run faster than me. The last one is the only one where it is used correctly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh, okay thanks man
