there are 999 numbers between 100 and 1000 but by FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLE OF COUNTING there are 9*10*10=900 nos. between 100 and 1000... how is it possible?

no...see your queston carefully...between 100 and 1000 there are 900 no.s as per PRINCIPLE OF COUNTING but there are 999 between 1 and 1000,,,!!!l
