i need help .. can you teach me how to get the checking of this problem ? 2x²-3x-9=0 i know the answer of that but i don't know how to check if it is right or wrong please help me :D

2x^2 - 3x -9 1 -3 2 3 cross multiply 1*3=3 and 2 * -3 = -6 then add 3 - 6 = -3 well its correct the answer will be (x - 3)(2x + 3) x= 3 and -3/2
