help me please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well if you want to find the angles you must use this formula 180(n-2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

n is how many sides the shape has

OpenStudy (aric200):

The sum of all the angles is 900

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks what about number 2

OpenStudy (aric200):

Do you know the degrees of a Pentagon?

OpenStudy (aric200):

540 degrees "cough cough"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for #2 you just have to add 130+94+109+112+x = 540

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then get the angle

OpenStudy (aric200):

So any idea with the given angle measurements what that would be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks @aric200 ans @FriedRice

OpenStudy (aric200):

So subtract and boom what do we have?

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

*nailed* it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm idk

OpenStudy (aric200):

Well take 540 and subtract all your numbers that your given already

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (aric200):

540-130=?

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

They gave you all your *hints. How could you not know? (not trying to be rude or anything..)

OpenStudy (aric200):

^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

410

OpenStudy (aric200):

Okay now 410 - 94 = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

316

OpenStudy (aric200):

316 - 109 = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is 95

OpenStudy (aric200):

You sure?

OpenStudy (aric200):

Im just playing haha yeah 95 :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o lol u scared me

OpenStudy (aric200):

And if you get other problems like #1 The best way to figure how To find the total number of degrees inside any polygon, you multiply 180 by the result of 2 subtracted from ā€˜n’ where ā€˜n’ is the number of sides that the polygon has. [180 x (n-2)= Total degrees] so that if a pentagon has 5 sides, there are 180 x (n-2)= 180 x (5-2)= 180 x 3= 540 degrees in total.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok gotta thanks

OpenStudy (aric200):

So real fast can you tell me how many degrees total in a Octagon?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

???

OpenStudy (aric200):

No?

OpenStudy (aric200):

How many sides does a octagon have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1080 degrees because it has 8 sides

OpenStudy (aric200):

Yes and you solved that by doing what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the formula u gave me

OpenStudy (aric200):

Okay now plug in the numbers then for me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

180(n - 2) = 180(8 - 2) = 180(6) = 1080

OpenStudy (aric200):

I posted that right after...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahaha lol

OpenStudy (aric200):

But good you understand :D any more questions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i have three more

OpenStudy (aric200):

Okay make new posts and ill answer each individually

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
